The Breathe of Seas

“‘Deep calls to deep in the roar of your waterfalls; all your waves and breakers have swept over me.’”

Psalm  42

Guilt weighs heavily on the Seas
Pounding waves drown the screams
Deeper currents
Hollow echoes
Wandering hearts
Numbing dreams
Lonely stars stalk endless sails
Salty oceans devour youth
Swallowed harbors
Empty ports
Waylaid warriors
Vacant homecomings.

Why Can’t We Be Friends?

Holy Spirit 33

Humanity appeals to its people but they listen not. Were one to listen, and console a mother by wiping her tears, other would say He is weak, affected by sentiment.

Thou art my brother because you are human, and we both are sons of one Holy Spirit; we are equal and made of the same earth.

You are here as my companion along the path of life, and my aid in understanding the meaning of hidden Truth. You are a human, and, that fact sufficing, I love you as a brother. You may choose, for Tomorrow shall take you away and will use your talk as evidence for his judgment, and shall receive justice.

Beautiful words of Peace and understanding. If only more Humans would listen.

In other words….

Why can’t we be friends, Why can’t we be friends… 🙂

I Bring Not Thy Peace But Thy Sword

I bring not thy peace but thy sword;

for God’s will is his way.

The devil may reap his rewards

but in the end will join them.

There will be shadows in light

but wills of darkness condemns

them in  barrows  where they

will stay,

to rot and fade away

until the end of days,

When legends are forgot

and lore becomes a myth

Good lives on

in the heart of pure warriors

who fought Evil in its highest

True light shall prevail

in face of battle

100 can overcome 1,000

If courageous and fearless stand

facing the same Shadows

that once in darkness dwelled

let them not cross the light

that hides their true form

for if they hide they will

never be found

fading into other forms

poseurs of Peace and Love

with faces hateful and grim

no one will want to judge them

and “hurt” their little whims.

But instead we feed them

and we let them grow

and in the end we’re left

with hard fists and no risks

So in closing destroy Evil in its wake

and let say what they will…

Because Evil knows no compromise

and like dreams of devils in paradise

they are not here to stay.

*History note*: The image I chose is of Imam Ali’s Sword Zhul-Fekar (its name). This sword has never come down on an innocent men and has never been used in anger, It has only been used to fight in Gods name and nothing else, For a tool of war it is the purest weapon in history. The last battle that Zhul-fekar was seen in  is the Battle of Karbala, it was used by the Imam Hussien( a.s),passed down to him from his brother Imam Hassan (a.s)  from their Father Imam Ali (a.s) after their murders. Zhul-Fekar disappeared after Karbala and no one claims to have looted it,(they would have loved to boast about claiming it as a booty of war) It is believed that  it will resurface with our 12th Imam, Imam Mahdi (a.a.f).

Your Mother

Daisies And Drops

I’m sorry I havent been on in a while been kinda sick but I am almost better. I missed the Mothers Day Post but I have only a few word that are their weight in gold ……….

One day a man came to the Prophet  Mohammed  (pbuh) and asked for guidance….

Guide me O’ Prophet of God!

Your mother, the Prophet answered..

The man asked again

Guide me O Prophet….

Your Mother  the Prophet answered again

The man again asked

Guide me O prophet!

Your Mother replied the Prophet again

The man asked again

Guide me O Prophet!

Your Father the Prophet answered.

The meaning of this narrative is Think of your mother three times before your father. In Islam the mothers place is sacred. There is also another narrative from the Holy Family (a.s) that goes like this

Heaven is under the feet of mothers”

It is not a disrespect to heaven but it is there to show how much a mother is worth in Islam. We are very protective of our mothers to a point that it is unhealthy in some cultures but still they are our past, present, and future.

So in closing I want to wish my Mom a Happy Mother’s Day!

and I’m going to bake her a cake!

And to all Mother’s out there Thank you for being Mothers! If it weren’t for you we would not exist!

Poet’s Prayer

To deny my faith

Would be denying the truth.

Is it possible to deny the blood

That streams my veins,

With legions of unknown

Successors

with dreams

and hopes

and promises

made and kept?

Can I deny the love

For estranged

Hearts

Whom I wish to please?

No

No I shall not deny

I shall not be proud

I shall cower

And beg for love

Because it takes

Only a pure heart

to distinguish false from true.
